About Lara

Creative Freelance Photographer

Based in Dorset and regularly travelling throughout the UK, I am a freelance creative commercial photographer specialising in Food, Brand Lifestyle, Product and Interior Photography.

As a photographer who truly understands the importance of image in this modern world, I combine a creative approach with the extensive market knowledge to produce truly unique images that will really work for your business. My style and personality shows throughout my portfolio, which was built on strong foundations learning the trade alongside iconic photojournalist Steve McCurry. I also offer creative design/direction for your shoot and have a large collection of props available to style food and product photography.

Having worked in the retail industry as a buyer, product, and brand developer prior to becoming a full-time photographer, I have a commercial approach to my work which is a great asset to my clients. Combining a deep market understanding with my creative design background means some truly exciting images that will really work for your business.

Clients include- New Look, Dorset Tea, Tea India, BoConcept, Primroses Kitchen, Murrays Fresh Fish, Skippers choice, Goldhill Organics, Chococo Chocolates, Ordnance Survey, Nutristrength,  Kent Brushes, Global harvest, The Dining Room Steakhouse, Life N Style, CW Interiors, The Dorset Seafood Festival, The Crab House Café, White-pepper cookery school, La Fosse Restaurant, Al Molo Restaurant, Pixie App, Hix Academy, The Wasabi Company and The Watercress Company.

My images have featured everywhere from websites and social media to magazines, cookbooks, retail packaging, billboards and in-store point of sale. My work has been published in Vogue, Tatler, Elle Decoration, The independent and The Sunday Times ‘Style’ Magazine, to name a few and in 2016 I am very proud to have been shortlisted for the Pink lady food photographer of the year.
